Frequently Asked Questions
Must I bring my laptop?
A. There will be some hands on classes that will require laptops. These classes will be announced at a later date and you can make up your mind at that time.
Do I need a rental car?
A. No. Everything we are doing is right in the hotel. There is transportation to and from the airport, so that is not a problem.
Can you explain the PJ party references?
A. The Pajama Party will be held on Saturday night. It is just a fun thing where everyone comes in pajamas and we have a Yankee Swap and do some fun things.
Can you explain the "RED" reference?
A. Participation in wearing red to the Pajama Party is totally optional. You wear a Red Pajama or anything red and a raffle ticket is given to you for participating. It is a lot of fun.
Do we get together as a group before the classes start so that we can meet everyone there, or does it just "get started"?
A. On Wednesday night, there will be a General Meeting where you will be introduced to the instructors. All classes and classrooms are on the main floor and the second floor of the hotel. All schedules and locations will be furnished to you at the Registration Desk
What kind of clothes should we bring?
A. The entire event is casual. You will not need any dress clothes unless you plan on going out of the hotel. Even then, the area is generally very casual. You will need a sweater for the classrooms. They are kept quite cool so that the instructors don't burn up under the lights and the equipment does not overheat. If you plan on attending the PJ party on Saturday night, which I hope everyone does, bring a pair of PJ's and a robe. This party is a lot of fun and we had a good time last year.
